We ran out of propane, had to use a oxy/acetylene rose bud. Welding blankets wrapped around to help keep some heat.

That's a nice job, but from here it looks like a rose bud and porta power would have been able to push the iron back in place.

I have this waiting for me tomorrow. Its going to be a strainer for an odd little sink in an old stainless countertop. The corners will have a nice big radius on them in the end and a fine mess inside.

I had to make an aluminum tray 1/8" thick and 36"×29". This was only the second time I have used our new Jet 16ga x 50" box and pan brake. I knew it was a little beyond the normal capabilities of the brake.

Show us what you welded today!

A food truck came in that needed an insulated cover for the internal generator. I figured I could make it in one piece. There is 1.5 inches of iso foam underneath.

    The generator

From my head to paper layout.

    One side cut and notched

    Other side cut and notched

    Installed

Just recently started my own business here in the RGV of Texas. Don't have much work right now but I'm trying to keep busy and making stuff for around the house and also to sell. (hopefully) Bar Stool that's way too high for our counter/bar and King Bed frame somehow still too small for Me, the missus, and 2 little boys.

All one piece??? But, But. But... you could have welded 4 different places together there! Looks great, as usual.

Right?! I welded a little bit on it. I like big panels though. It's a hold over from my days making large skins; hoods, roofs, and doors. One of these days ill make a big english wheel for myself.
