    SA-200 blueface

I just bought a 1960 sa200 that has a faceplate that is red and blue. I have heard them called a blueface. I have been told that they only put these faceplates on a couple years. The other one I have seen is a 1961 sa200. Can anyone tell me about this?

It's far too old to be any good. You should probably just sell it to me so your not out too much money

Welcome, I have nothing constructive to add....Other than I own a machine similar to years, only seperated by 20 years, and I love it. You got lucky to snag one so old...
Is it in good condition, and we need some pics mang....

I hope it turns out to be a good machine. I bought it while its in the middle of a rebuild. I run a 1958 longhood sa200 now and want the 60 to be my backup machine.

I have a '62 Redface with the blue tint/background..... a lot of people have never seen the red and blue faceplates... It nice having something original, i get a lot of questions about it.
Rumor has is that Lincoln made these faceplates specially for a large company that bought lots of SA200s and they did it to distinguish them from the others.
