WHAT !!!! Next year !!! You will suffer my friend , believe me. I made my wife silverware flowers and then had many people that want the same thing. Well, I sold hers too.
Not too swift on my part. I do have enough silverware stock to make more but haven't taken the time. I will get it done for Christmas this week.

    Re: New Horseshoe art Sticky

Well all these snow men are for women in her family so I'm not going to be soaking and scrubbing another 12 shoes before Christmas just to make one tree. I have other things to do. Like rest. She can wait till next year. I still have to paint all those snow men I finished welding last night. I am thinking of using my Laundry room for that with the vent fan on. I have a lot of plastic from a new mattress we just bought so I wont have to worry about overspray on floor and cabnets.

Besides it was only just yesterday that she texted me a picture of a shoe tree that she would like to have. Not enough time ro mess with it before Christmas.

This is the tree she wants. I dont even have those style shoes.

Your gal is right no star. I was thinking of using horseshoe nails to make one. Fortunately I sold that one for a $100.00 bill last week . Guy bought it and asked me about doing custom art from his wife's horses shoes . COOL !!!

My wife wants the one your lady wants now. Guess I got a year to do it.

My niece is getting married to a cowboy turned into a educated engineer. She asked for a 6 point start to hang from a trellis for a outside wedding this year. She also asked me to make a boot puller for him. This is the design I can up with. Made D heart K for their head table.

    Re: New Horseshoe art Sticky

Thanks. I still have to wrap either leather or rawhide laces on the boot grabber part. The 6 shoe star was a pain. I laid out assorted types of shoes and it didn't look right. The finished one I spread open the shoes and liked it. Many of those are only 5 shoes. My niece wanted 6 .

Laundering the weld is the difference between craft and art . . .

Weld one , that's cute. If you were gonna sell that to the Equine people a horseshoe base maybe better. Those horse people are funny. I made a holder from horseshoes for business cards, cell phone , table, or to hold a picture frame. Well I sold some and had others tell me the horseshoe is going the wrong way. They want the shoe ''UP '', for good luck , down they said the '' luck '' will fall out.

Thanks BD1. Do other forms of metal art, but like working with horseshoes. And a lot of people here in Colorado seem to like it. Am still learning every time I do a project, with lots more to learn. Getting a lot from this forum.
