    Server Busy Notice

I am relatively new here and please don't take this as a complaint, but tonight I have been getting a lot of "The server is too busy at the moment" messages. Is there something unusual going on or is the traffic really bad tonight?

    Re: Server Busy Notice

I've been around a while and I'm getting it lots too. Probably something to do with the system or there could be some maintenance going on. We're a long way from the 6,800 online at once record at 1,400.

Yep. It has been happening all week long. At least 20 times, and right after I log in and try to post. After a couple of minutes I give up and move on.

Really quite annoying. Something is wrong.

Noticed it myself and wrote it off as possible a DNS attack.....That sort of stuff is EVERYWHERE on the WWW now-a-days....No fault of Weldingweb, just typical cyber street crime.

I guess that's a good thing (that you're aware of some issues)! I was afraid some kids with too much time on their hands were causing a denial of service attack or something. Today it seems fine for me.
