This will take several posts so be patient lots of pics. These were built from prints supplied by the customer, they are the same ones northern sells as well as others. These plans are good not great but they are workable. The trailers are over engineered as you will see.
All welds were done using either a miller 210 or 251 and .030 0r .035 wire depending on the which welder was used, 75/25 gas. Settings weren't constant as the material wasn't consistently the same.
10 Foot dump bed, single cylinder lift, 12 volt pump, 3500 lb. axles, 2 5/16 hitch with hydraulic brakes, empty weight was projected to be a little less than 1900 lbs. actual weight was a little over 2600 lbs..
Some changes were made deviating from the plans. Plans called for 14 ga. floor and sides, used 10 ga.. The top rail on the bed called for 3x4x1/4 angle, used 2x2x1/4 as the 3" over hang looked as if it would make a good catch point for anyone getting close. The fenders were originally to have a 1/4" backing and be attached to the main frame. This was changed to mounting the fenders to the bed and deleting the 1/4" backing.
Now for what everyone was waiting for the pics.
