hey every one this blew me away i was on the miller welding forum and ran accross this post
" The "inventor" was George Gilchrist of Gillette Wyoming, shortly after WWII when everything including welding hoods were in short supply.
George signed his pancakes with an engraving tool under the face piece.
For what it's worth he died in the mid-90's."
I didn't know Gillette was good for any thing till I read that. pretty cool i live somewhere where something cool was invented.
