I just checked in and read the thread . . .

    I thought your 'header' - BOOB, sounded like a 9 MM - was a 'gun-stud' thread . . .
    So, I put your-read on the back-burner . . .

    I also suffer from key-board dyslexia - 'B and M' - are both trigger fingers . . .

Is it just me or looks like the nut is upside down for a grinding disk. The way I see it in the picture it is the position for a cutting disk or zip cut.

The lock nut appears to be upside down, but It's not.

I had another one just like the one that blew up, I trashed it. Not beveled, It was center recessed so therefore not full thickness.

One of the young kids on the labor crew for a construction company we sub for thought it would be a good idea to put a 10" diamond blade on his 7" grinder then climb to the top of a stepladder and cut some stucco. I felt it was my responsibility to stop him but he brushed me off so I told his boss. The 10" blade was removed and he was told if he did it again he would be fired. He's mad at me but I'd rather have him mad than dead, could have kicked out and sliced his neck.
