Lincoln Mig Pak 140 Welding 1/4"...Flux or Mig?

    Hi All,

Quick question. I am welding up a 6' lawn roller and just have a Lincoln Mig Pak 140 at my disposal. Can I do i with mig and thicker wire or should I just go all out with flux. Everything is 1/4" mild steel. Since it is an implement it needs to be strong. I am also welding end caps on the main roller and it needs to be watertight. When I run mig I use 75/25 if that helps at all.

    Thanks,
    gator

It should have the parameters on the door chart- if they still have the chart on the door. Might be in the manual.
