    WiFi Extender

    Netgear WN3000RP WiFi extender.
just plug it in and it extends the wifi signal. shows up as an extension of your main wifi (and uses the same password)

    Pretty easy to use.

I used it for a couple years because I had a weak signal in my detached garage. worked great/solved the problem.

But yesterday we switched from Frontier (att&t) to XFinity and my speed and signal about doubled.... and I now have full signal out to the garage...

    So,
    $30.00 shipped.

    (lower 48 only)
    paypal only.

    Not sure.
I had it about 100’ away from my garage... in the house.

Without it I got almost no service

Thanks John I'm about 300 feet from shop to house, I'll have to do some research

    no problem.

The xfinity installer was telling me they have their own extender... kind of a repeater...

maybe other providers have the same.

although 300' is a long way...

Yeah it's probably to far, I'm sure I need something at shop to boost signal back to house cause laptop ain't gonna s not it that far. Kinda like CB radio with a amp people could hear you for miles but you couldn't hear them if they were on a stock system. Gives a whole new meaning to one sided conversation
