After a couple years , I'm finally starting on my pontoon project. I'm going to strip it down and replace the floor, then build all new seating and interior layout. We can compare notes. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...6&share_type=t

That stainless for the deck is going to get pretty hot out in the sun.
You gonna cover it with something?

My suggestion would be to have the pontoons be air tanks, then power the propeller with an air motor :

You wont go far but you will get there in record time.

This should be a cool project

so.... five or six more minkota 55pounders and she'd be scootin' of course you'd need more battery power...maybe some water batteries for charging on a sunless day/night ???

Now ya see Zips. You take this guys idea, and my Lycoming fan blaster idea and toss in a left twist by filling the pontoons with helium and you'll have the only SEALS transport on the lake ! Water. A lil Helium to help on dry ground and pumped to the max for a trip to the space station.

I put solar panels on my fishing boat a few years ago and have not had to charge the battery since.

bonzoo; redirect that air down and you can sail that thing right into your garage when you're finished cruising on the water.
