    31k lb utility skid

Been working this job for about a month now, all alone. The decking is 1in, support tube frames are 5-10-1/2in and it gets three of these beam assemblys w12/170 with 3in/6ft wear pads and 6in/18in square wheel bloks at the ends.

I'll have more pics later today

nice looking work colin. working alone separates the men from the boys. be careful; if that fell on your foot it would ruin your whole day.

Doc, I was going to say exactly the same. And I am afraid that even with steel toed boots, you would be called stumpy from then on.

What are you going to use to stitch this together? Just curious!

Colin, What is the skid used for?
And is going to weight 31K or is that what it will hold?

Huge amount of locked up stress in that thing. Was there a required preheat in the WP?

Beautiful uniform welds. I can't do that. Nice

It's just getting started, I've got two 5-10-1/2in tube frames sitting outside the shop, and a 280inx170inx1in deck fabed up to go along with
