Certainly cheap enough. It's an older one with that polarity switch and handle.

17 day old though........it'd been gone in 17 minutes here. Still worth a try.

If I didn't already have a big old welder, I would go get it. But I REALLY don't have the room for it.

You can also tell it's age by AC being in the middle position on the polarity switch. They had a code number break in the late 60's I think and the newer polarity switches have DC+ in the middle.

I've got a 1973 still configured that way - looks original.

I need to research the time of the changeover. I know 75 was DC + in the middle for sure

The welder itself weighs right around 350 lbs. A Dialarc 250 is about 365 lbs.

If it would have been close to me, and it is not, I would have snatched it up in a second. Dibs or no dibs.

Probably depends on the area in which you live. Not that I'd want to part with mine but I'd have a hard recouping time, paint and parts out of my 250/250

Here's mine after a "minor" internal restoration, cable management and paint.

The original posted machine around in my area would sell for at the least $250-$300 with no mods or paint done to it!
