Just got off the phone with them Duane. Yep, they should be there in a few! Just joking, that was a nice deal!

    Hey! Congrats!

It'll be 38 for Judy and I coming up on 9/1. She's obviously a VERY patient woman.

I almost forgot my wifes birthday last week, but did at the last minute. Our 35th anniversary is coming up. Where have the years gone?

I didn't almost I did once about 25-30 years ago. Remembered the next day! Thing is, I knew the day before it was her birthday the next day and still forgot it! I still get a sick feeling in my gut when I think about it.

    Congrats on your upcoming 35th.

The wife's and oldest son's birthday is tomorrow on the 21rst. Our wedding aniversary was yesterday on the 19th. I tried to keep the dates close together to help me remember them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

I am glad she let you stay around Duane! Boy we would be in tough shape if she was any sort of ordinary lady!

You are a smart man. My wife's birthday is December 18. Next week is Christmas. January 3rd is our anniversary. If you play nice all year you can get by consolidating presents

Reverse psychology! Not exactly but small millennial brain is not finding the right word right now. I am hoping to effect a climate change through mass telekinesis starting with WW. Go tear the next couple months of your calendar off and cut the heat up!

I stopped at Airgas on the way home from work and exchanged the little Oxy/acet bottles for the little torch set. Cost me $52 for the bottles, more than I paid for the whole rig - Lol! Brought them home and tried it out. Works like a champ!

The wife and I just hit 40 last month.
Let me tell y'all of my bonehead moment.

Our anniversary is July 22 and wife's BD is exactly 1 week later - July 29.

About 20 years ago I bought us a brand new ski boat on July 15.

Took it out July 22 (our anniversary)...... I'm on cloud 9 with my new ski boat.........don't have a clue what day it is...... wife, kids, and me have a great day on the water....nothing ever said to remind me of what day it is. Go thru the entire following week and the lightbulb is broken, no clue that I've forgotten our anniversary.

Following weekend July29 (wife's BD).....back out on the water and I'm on cloud 9 again. Wife and kids are in the water on air mattresses and I'm in the boat kicked back like a turtle on a log.

I hear the wife and kids whispering back and forth to each other but I can't make out what they're saying. (too much loud rock-n-roll back in the 70's)

Then my son yells out, "hey Dad, what day is it?" I said, "it's Saturday, son" He replies back, "no no no, what DAY is it?"
I say, "it's Saturday July twenty....(then the lightbulb comes on)...... I raise up and look out to my wife and say......"happy anniversary, Dear"

I got a good woman, she even kept me after that for another 20 years and counting.

Paid $100 for mine out of a pawn shop and $27 for both tanks filled. $40 is ridiculous, great buy. I had been at lowes and seen them earlier that week for $330 so i was cool with $100. For $40 though..... NICE.
