Lincoln ranger 225 and ranger 8 no power or welding output

Here are the code #s off the machines K2857-1 11597 and K1419-4 11151. Have done most of the troubleshooting checks and I am not getting the 37 to 46 VDC at the brush holders on either machine any ideas on where I need to go from here maybe new boards? Thanks in advance!

Are you getting battery voltage at the slip rings?

    FYI, the Code# 11151 is a Ranger 10,000 not a Ranger 8.

Locate flashing diode D9 and resistors R4 & R5 on the control board and check them for being open. Diode D9 would be suspect first and then the two resistors.

It's important as the control board in the Ranger 8 is different from that common to the 225 and 10,000.

The board may be fully encapsulated in which case it's non-repairable.

Yes the boards are fully encapsulated. Thanks for the info! Do you know of where to get these boards from and our part #?

I think Duane may be dealing with Harvey today so I'll chime in. The 2 code numbers show to use the same control board, p/n 9SL12198-1. Any authorized Lincoln distributor should be able to get it. I looked on ebay but didn't see anything. 357 bucks
