Wanted- G-261 rear Hobart Mainliner nameplate

Size: 54.1 KBI'm looking for a nameplate for my '63 Hobart Mainliner, that goes on the rear top of the welder. The previous owner has repainted it, and the paint is starting to peel from the original gold, so I've decided to take it back to original. I noticed the four screw holes (or rivet/bolt, whatever held it on), so I'm trying to find a name plate to bring it back to it's former glory. If anyone has one, let me know. I'm not sure if I'm hooked up to get email notifications or not, but I'll check back. Thanks! Lee Name: Photo431.jpg

Slob on here is pretty familiar with Hobarts. Maybe he will have a clue.

I assume it looks like these?

Nice machine but those nameplates are older than his requested ones. That style went out with the raised hood in the late 1950's. I think 1960, or 1961 brought out the newer flat style sheet metal.

The ones he is looking for are black and white on an aluminum background plate. Same physical size in most cases. Don't know if I have any of the "newer" styles to photograph and post but I'll look.

Thanks, guys, and slob is right, mine's a '63. This is about as good as I can find on the internet for an example. Pretty faded, too. If I don't fine one, maybe I can have one made by a sign shop. Name: s-l1600.jpg
