    Come on Dave! 1/4" round stock is an easy bend by hand. Tight bends I stick in a vise.

    Makes it a lot more fun using your eye and "seeing" the shape. Go for it and good luck!

    I tried making a 3” hook the other day out of 3/16” and it was by no means, uniform. Functional, yes.

    Dave, do you have access to schedule 40 pipe?? Like 3" , 4" , or 6" ? You can use that to make a jig to bend around.
