'56 SA-200 Lincoln Gray Paint Code

Hi, I'm having some trouble with the paint codes I've found for the traditional Lincoln gray. My local auto paint store can't find the numbers in the PPG or DuPont stuff he has. Can anyone help?

Hi, that is the code I took to the paint store but they could not find it in their database. I had a Delstar code also, but they couldn't find anything with it. I ran across a DuPont code for a color for a 1939 Dodge color called "Squadron Gray" which DuPont listed as 93-6334and they found it but they said it was not gray. I left it with them and left my phone number, and asked them to try to find the right paint and get me 2 quarts of acrylic enamel, hardner, thinner, and two quarts of epoxy primer. Maybe they'll come up with it.
Thanks for the photos of your machines; they are beauties. It is sooo satisfying to finally watch that paint go on during a project.

6334 is the paint code which I got from Kaye over on aws.org. My friend is a painter so I told him the paint code and he looked it up on the PPG computer he had and mixed the paint up for me, came out looking really good.

If the paint store doesn't have it go to a body shop and ask them to look it up and buy the paint from them.

Just realize your PPG paint couldn't find it I say bullsh*t on that like I said my friend mixed the paint up which was ppg and he painted my machine

The guy at the paint store called me this afternoon; he found it and can mix it in Dupont Nason, so he's getting the epoxy primer, reducer, hardener, paint, etc together for me, probably will be next Monday-Tuesday. Said he's going to write it on the wall for the next time someone asks for it. Thanks everyone!

CEP, I have to ask, where did you find the face plate for the short hood, I have not seen any with the 4 gears. All the plates I have seen for sale are for the 5
