AC out of inverter machines ?
Why is that almost none of the inverter machines have an AC side ?
I'm sure there's a simple reason, someone edjumucate me ... I mean it seems simplistic to me, the machine is powered by AC afterall ... - jack |

Reread my post I said "almost none". I did not say all ...
I'll rephrase it for you. Why is it none of the low end inverter machines don't have AC ? - jack |

Expense. It takes two inverters running opposite polarity to get AC, and then the switching circuitry to handle it.

And don't forget the T/A 185 or the Esab 161, as both have AC.

Maxstars are DC only. For less than $1500 you can get a complete Esab kit, or for about $1700 a complete T/A kit. My preferance, for any who might not already know: get the T/A. I miss mine still (i'd miss it more if I hadn't replaced it with a MM251
).
