I am looking at a lincoln idealarc tig 300 and the tag on the back says the input amps required is 117. Am I reading the right tag ? could this be correct?

Sounds a tad high but I might be wrong. There should be multiple voltages on the tag that will have different currents with each voltage.

Ideal arc Imput amps.

Steve ,that 117 imput could be right. I know lincolns precision tig 275 requires around 94 imput amps for maximum output.
