TorchMate Approved! LONGEVITY Cutters on TorchMate CNC Machines

Hi Guys,

We wanted to share with you our consistent work with Torchmate to allow LONGEVITY Plasma Cutters to be featured on their fine tables. Here is a video taken by TorchMate and presented to us to share with you guys.

Torchmate at www.torchmate.com knows accurate cutting like no other so we are very happy to work with them for the past year in developing our cutters to handle the accuracy and demands of their CNC cutting tables. Torchmate has congratulated us on the improvement of our models and has provided us with key tips to make the units what they are today! Hats off to Torchmate for their support.

Thus far Torchmate has been testing our ForceCut 50i Plasma Cutter on their prototype 2x4 CNC table. Here are some videos:

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the support. The videos are great and I am glad Torchmate is working with us to improve our plasma cutters. I think they are set to release more videos. We will definitely update on here and the forum on our website, which should be up and running by end of week.

The torch is an S45 and Torchmate is impressed with the CNC integration of the ForceCut 50i, which is the first unit they have tested.

Regards,

Simon

Does your torch plasma arc swirl the opposite direction then others? Seems like the programming is wrong otherwise?

Hi Brand X,

The counter clockwise cut is intentional according to Torchmate. Here is their response:

"With plasma, one side of the cut is better than the other. One of the functions of the Torchmate CAD is to make sure that the best cut is on the part that you plan to keep. In some cases it is the inside and in some cases it is the outside."

They stated our ForceCut 50i plasma cutter is the best cutter on the market for the price to power comparison. I must give Torchmate credit as they worked with us to improve our cutting line.

Here is the thread:

Also, as far as Thermal Dynamics, I am unsure what are their plans. Bill called upon us to see what our plasmas can do on their CNC tables after seeing our strong reputation on the net for quality cutters at affordable rates. They launches a 2x2 which is a very affordable cnc machine and our cutters are a great match to keep the overall cost low!

They have two videos with our machines, also there are videos of our cutters on plasmacam tables as well on weldingweb.

Thanks,

Simon

Would you mind explaining what you mean by "approved"? This is somewhat surprising as TorchMate has been a stanch supporter of Thermal Dynamics plasma cutters.

Personally, I think this is great news.
