Jackson Helmet, Miller Headgear

Who's done a successful conversion of putting Miller headgear onto a Jackson helmet? I had a spare helmet and a spare Miller headgear and I put the headgear onto the helmet but the "helmet stop" feature was not functional. Am I better off using the new 370 series headgear? I've used it before on a friends helmet but it was nothing to write home about...

I'm sure it's do-able with a bit of gumption, although I've never tried to cross-breed headgear.

Re: Jackson Helmet, Miller Headgear

IIRC the millers have a square hole one each side and the Jacksons just have round holes?

Re: Jackson Helmet, Miller Headgear

I can't speak to the Miller conversion, but I "upgraded" my basic $25 Jackson and replaced the headgear with the 370 and I am like a new man. The 370 cost me like $13 plus some shipping and installed with no mods. Maybe you could trade someone out, but it was the best $19 I spent in a long time.
