Hello, from Huntington, WV

My name is David Corns. I am just trying to get aquainted with some people in the manufacturing and repair business. I actually specialize more in the repair field but I also do some new fabrication work also. I am in the process of starting my own business, I plan to set up a truck with a welder and aircompressor, etc. I am looking for anyone with any suggestions, comments or experience in doing this. I am in the very early stages right now. I am maintaining a full time-job working for (the Man). Its slow going right now but every piece of advise I can acquire at this point could be useful.

Thank you for any help, you can offer.

My eyes and ears are open!!!!!!!

Re: Hello, from Huntington, WV

I hope to specialize in heavy equipment, but definately do not plan to limit myself to any one particular thing.
I have done some checking around and there doesn't seem to be alot of mobile welders in the Huntington, or Tri-State area that I know of. Maybe u have some different insight on this. If u do would u please share some information with me about who and what they do. I could possibly look into sub-contracting thru established companies to help get htis thing off the ground in the beginning.

Thanks for the reply

Re: Hello, from Huntington, WV

wvwelder, you might try around some of the gas drilling rigs, they seem to be drilling quite a lot in southern wv. ive seen some trucks around their sites that look like contract trucks.not sure about that but it would be worth a shot. if you do get into this i hope you dont mind mud. theres plenty of that. a couple names.....Yost drilling....Pettey drilling....Union drilling. dont know any numbers for them but there probably in the phone book.
