motorcraft dl7078 ports

can anyone tell me what all the ports are on this alternator? it uses a external voltage regulator

Red is 12 volts out. GND is ground, FLD is field and is connected to the regulator.
The Black may not be used. Go find a wiring diagram for a 1980s Ford car or van.
between 1969 and 1991. Then match up the wiring, Get a Hayes or Chilton book.

On some of those Fords the stator terminal was connected to the electric choke thermostat. That way it only heats when its running and also that terminal supplies about 6 volts to the heater. Those heaters open immediately if connected to 12 volts and don't give enough choke to keep the engine running when cold. Ask me how I found that out.
