Craftsman 200 amp mig welder for $800

Who actually makes this welder?
Is it any good?
It looks like a good deal but then again what do i know?

No idea but for a little more I would go with a miller autoset.

I think Lincoln/Century makes it, but not certain..
I would look a the Thermal arc 181i, its right around $800..

Well $800 isnt my limit, im just looking around at deals on welders. I just happen to accidently find this one. I like that miller mvp and been looking at some hobarts also, im pretty sure im gonna get a 220volt welder. Decisions.......

I second the Thermal Arc 181i, gives you MIG, TIG (DC lift), and Stick for the same money. Love the one I bought recently.

Looks like a Lincoln Power Mig 216 ??? They own Century like MIller & Hobart are ITW companys .

Tractor Supply company, or TSC has Hobart 190 MIG welders on sale for $649 right now and that includes the gas kit. This welder is spool gun ready.

I see the description for the Northern Tool Craftsman says TEN wire speeds. Seems odd. I wonder if that's true or a marketing screw up.
