Optrel Satellite troubles

While using my Optrel Satellite mask yesterday it began to malfunction where the shade would flicker light and then dark. It didn't get to the point where it was too bright to be concerned about flash, but it was annoying as hell. I tried cleaning the sensors and worked the variable adjustment and sensitivity knobs back and forth for a few moments in case they were dirty.

I'm concerned this (expensive when purchased) mask is on its way out...has anyone encountered and solved these issues before?

Try a setting in the sun, or under a floodlight for a a while,when it acts up.. Might be a low or weak battery.

I've got as Esab Eye-Tech 9/13 (made by Optrel) that needs "re-charged" by the sun when not in use for a day or two. I'm afraid it's on it's way out.
I wonder if Optrel has the same warranty that SpeedGlas does, where if it's out of warranty they'll give you a "healthy" trade-in allowance?

I had one same problems, so i fixed it with a miller digital elite.
