I find it hard to believe that someone would think welds like this on a safety cage are a good idea.

I'd definately run for cover! A big red X on the ground is a sure sign of a big red ACME bomb in the sky. Double scary if there is a pile of birdseed on it.

Well you know, often the weld can actually be stronger than the base material. So why not construct the entire roll-cage from weld? LOL
