The pedal is different for the 160sth. It uses 22k same as the powerultra 205. So yours will not work !

Why a postflow knob instead of a balance knob? Wouldn't that be a better option?
Also I don't see any foot pedals on your site?

Its a DC only welder! You are always 100% DC. Balance is for AC tig. Same for frequency.
Arc force or hot start I think would have been a better option than adjustable post flow....
If u want AC tig get the 185 micro.

Re: 2012 Everlast PowerArc 160STH Dual voltage stick welder

It has been a long time since the last time I was on this site so this is the first that I have heard about this new welder. I was on the Everlast website giving the specs and features of this unit a look and since the foot pedal is optional, I tried to find out how much the pedal would cost. Unfortunately I was not able to find a link to a foot pedal on the site. So I was wondering, is the foot pedal still available? And if so, how much does it cost?

Re: 2012 Everlast PowerArc 160STH Dual voltage stick welder

I'm looking for a Tig with aluminum capability with a foot switch for home use. What do you suggest? Local suppliers want 800$ for the 160 without the optional pedal .

Re: 2012 Everlast PowerArc 160STH Dual voltage stick welder

The PowerTig 185 would fit the bill. Price is more than the 160 of course and in the range you said the DC only 160 is selling for (where?). The PT 185 AC DC and simple to operate, but has good adjustability while welding in AC to tailor the arc. PM me and I will give you a price.
