sa200 paint choices

debating whether to paint the engine & genset blue or red....I've decided to go with the dark grey metallic for the sheetmetal. Wondering what colour would look best with this combo...ideas? Lets see your rebuilds.

I like red, black and silver together, here is a crummy pic of mine.

I will get a newer picture and the flames done on the hood.

Mines a 250 not a 200 but close enough when we are talking paint.

Re: sa200 paint choices

Don't paint it blue. A Lincoln should be grey. That should be the 11th commandment. The grey and red color scheme is definitely sharp. I'd go for that one

Re: sa200 paint choices

60RedFacer, thats the red I'm looking for. Was just at an aoutobody supply co, and they were not much help...thier paints are only good up to 260F and I dont want to go through 20 engine enamel aerosols...anyone know a good high temp line I can spray through my HVLP gun?

Slim, I painted the frame & sheetmetal it the dark graphite grey - the SA200 Classic colour - I agree, blue is the WRONG choice...

LOL, no I don't think I'll opt for the pink and black myself. The candy apple red looks amazing though.
