RFCS-14 pedal to a ThermalArc181

Like the title says, I found a schematic for both the welder, a ThermalArc 181i that I just bought and I have a RFCS-14 pedal and I'm wondering if anyone has done this yet and if so the results.
From what I've read the Miller pedal is a 1K and the 181i's pedal is a 5K. I can't see it making a lot of difference but I'm wondering what the end result will be. I'm guessing a touchy pedal......Mike
