Questions about Lincoln 180 and gas

Hey guys I have been reading this site for a while but haven't really posted much. Now I need some help. When I bought my Lincoln 180 I hooked the polarity up for running fluxcore. I just bought a 60cuf bottle with argon/co2. I was welding with it today and it just doesn't seem like it is welding properly now that may just be me but am i supposed to switch the polarity to tun solid wire and gas
