The lowly sledge
probably the only tool we all have in common. But when the handle breaks who knows the proper way to wedge the new wood? It comes with two wedges, one wood and one steel. The wood I drove into the cut and trimmed off the excess but now I wonder...do I drive the steel into the wedge or turn it 90 degrees? What is the knowledge of those that tread the path before me?
