FCAW help needed

I have an HH 140 in which I am using .030 flux core. The welder is in my basement and during the Humid weather it tends to get damp from condensation. Lately i've been having some wire feed problems and upon opening the feed enclosure I saw that there were beeds of water on the wire. It doesn't seem to be anywhere else on the welder. My question is that I've been told by my instructer that I can buy something to clean the wire as it comes of the spool to save the drive rolls and liner. Does anyone know where I can find one of these things he talked about.

thank you
