newbie from northern california
I got a Miller 200DX a few months ago. I'm an electronics engineer with some material science background, but have no experience with welding. I have lots of experience with soldering with electronics and some brazing for hvac equipment.
It took me a few weeks to become somewhat proficient with TIG on aluminum, at least proficient enough to fabricate mounting racks for some solar panels. I've been using a gas cooled torch so far, but picked up a coolmate 3 recently so wanted to try a water cooled torch. I was surprised to find the hose fitting on the CK17 and CK25 torches didn't fit the connectors on the coolmate. (I thought the fittings were standardized.) Any ideas? Thanks, Zac Last edited by Zac; 01-01-2010 at 12:01 AM. |

Hi Ya Zac and Welcome to the Welding Web Family. Nice Miller
As for you question the best place to ask would be in the Miller Forum so you can ask some other Miller 200DX how the got the connectors to fit.
