New here but i have been welding since i was 8 or 9 when dad started teaching me

Just bought new equipment to replace my old and stolen stuff
Got Miller Trail Blazer 302 Air Pak with the cooler/dryer

Went all blue this time

Re: Greeting new to this forum

Ya better give us a review of that 302 air pak. I can't afford one at the moment, but I would like to know how it does from somebody that actually has one. I'm sure others would like to know also. I know the Air Pak topic came up a while back in relation to the 302 and lot's of guys think it's too much $$$$.

Re: Greeting new to this forum

I will do a review on it after it gets here in a couple of weeks

Your right about being high dollar list $ 11377.00 for the basic model
But if you you ever use a high CFM compressor you need the condenser and filter package
I found one on e bay for $9651.00
I showed the local Airgas dealer and he knocked it down to $ 9523.21
Plus with them theres no shipping which saves me a little more

But having the screw type compressor is the bomb they produce a lot of CFM 26 @ 70 to 160 psi at a 100 % duty cycle
Which will do a lot of gouge work plasma or carbon or run a 1 in impact gun or scaler without any problem

They had 4 at the bolt factory were i was a maintenance mechanic they supplied 150 psi air for the whole factory

The Next problem will be building a welding trailer
I've seen some great designs on different forums

But i will have a hitch lock so somebody doesn't borrow it
