Question Lincoln Idealarc 250 need help

I am taking apart a Lincoln Idealarc 250 for scrap metal. The serial is 28789 and it is type K1051. What metals is it constructed of and how much may it be worth. I am thinking it has a lot of silver in it.

That's painful to read. Unless it's really trashed, you are dismantling one of the finest stick welders ever made. Consider selling the unit to someone who would restore it.

It was built in 1951, so I would guess it has copper windings.
It would be a shame to scrap it out, though.
