I am the Son of a Welder

My dad passed away two months ago.
After spending many many days getting ready for an auction of his welding shop I have fallen in love again with the craft (inheriting a Plasma, welder and some tools has helped). So I decided to join this web to learn and grow and meet new people.

My dad was a master welder and a machinist. He was a welder for 40 years the last 29 owner and an operator of a fabricating repair shop called Stik's Welding. His methodology was BUILD IT TO LAST. He loved to manufacture and had some great designs for patented Stik's Ice Fishing stoves, snowmobile lifts, trailers and more. I think he one of the first pressure welders in the province of Saskatchewan a long time ago

He taught me a lot but I have some basics I need to learn. This web has been great so far. I read messages from people that share the passion my dad had for creating.

I am the son of a welder, I have lots to learn. My second post will be a question on how to complete an ATV Hunting Trailer using the walking axles he built before he died. See you out there.
