Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

That's kind of funny cause I just got the app today.
One thing I noticed is I couldn't search the forum for anything. The search function didn't register when I tried to select it.Also noticed smilies didn't show up either.I'm sure with updates they'll solve any problems tho.Other than that it's great.Loads faster than Safari and is easily navigated.Click on a pic and it fills the phone's screen.
Thumbs up

Its a smart phone, third party application that simplifies the process of view, posting and interacting on this forum as well as others that support it.

I just started using it, and it works well.

Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

I haven't got that app, and probably won't.I don't like being asked to buy it every time I change screens either. I've been asked to buy it probably15 times so far, and I just logged on!

Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

That interesting, I have been using tapatalk for a month or so now and have never been asked to purchase it, or even seen an ad on the app.

I looked, and it appears you have to navigate to the specific forum that you want to post in. Now if you check the android menu, "New Topic" is present.

Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

welding web with a space found it.

It is a good app - worth the $3

I'd like to see it get all the little animated icons like drinkup working (some do, some don't.)

Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

The best feature of this app is that they will store photos you take on their server so it makes posting images real easy

Re: Tapatalk Mobile App

Overall I like Tapatalk to read WW posts when I have time to sit down. It's great till my legs fall asleep :-)

Is there a way to sync posts I've read using Tapatalk and those I've read in a browser? I'm logged into both places and assumed that once read in one spot, read in all. That doesn't seem to be the case though.

Is there a solution or is that a feature request for the next version?

Based on Southpaw's observation I tried Tapatalk to post pictures. It rocked since it was very easy to attach pictures taken on my phone. The big plus was that it is easy to have some text to explain a picture, the picture, and some more text to describe the next picture. That is a little trick I never figured out how to do when using a browser. My browser post just have all the pictures attached in a single long line at the end of the post.

Finally, just to clarify, the pictures are uploaded to the WW server and so there won't be broken links in a few years like ImageShack pictures.
