Re: Miller bluestar

If you have a Kohler 341S your machine is a Blue Star 1E. It has an idle solenoid that pulls on a right angle bracket mounted on governor arm and powered by a potted module inside generator. All these parts are available as new or aftermarket parts.weldersales.

Re: Miller bluestar

My bluestar has a tecumseh oh160, I thought it was a 1E, . The manual search on millers site using my serial number comes up as 1E. My front panel markings are all worn off.

Re: Miller bluestar

If your engine is an OH160, you have a Blue Star 2. 2E if electric start. Idle solenoid is on side of engine below carb, 1 1/2" diameter and about 4" long, gold color. weldersales
