Not sure how much to sell for??

I have a Lincoln 255XT that is quite frankly too much machine. I never seem to leave my Lincoln 125. I have welded with it just to say I did rather than actually needing it. I'm looking to sell just dont wanna be one of those people that asks for 110% of what they paid. I plan on selling everything with it. My welding cart/ 150 tank of argon/co2// .045 (30lb) spool// .035(30lb)// .030 (10lb) spool and of course the welder. What would you all say is a fair price??

Welcome to welding web Blackwrench!
You've come to the right place for sure

It would help if you posted picks and told us the year of your equipment as well as city state.
Or you could edit your info and put your location there. You'll get some good responses
I've sold stuff here and got good money for it.

Good luck on selling your stuff!

Re: Not sure how much to sell for??

judging by the recent craigslist ad's i've seen you can ask about 10k for it...haha, However, not seeing your maching this is a shot in the dark, They can be had for about 2200+ new but you're does come with more than a new machine and is probably in good condition, however most buyers won't see that. Reasonably I think you could ask full price for the machine since it comes with some extras, but as with selling anything used you have to be willing to take a loss. These people trying to sell their 30 year old machines for more than new more advanced ones cost have their heads in the clouds. With all it has on it, I would be comfortable handing 2200 over for it.
