TIGWELD 200 EX - 200 AMP Digital AC DC TIG/STICK PULSE WELDING

Hi Everyone,

I am very excited to introduce our TIGWELD 200 EX, which is the best AC DC TIG/STICK welder we have ever offered. It comes with AC and DC pulse controls, hot start and anti-stick for stick, and basically the best arc you will see from a TIG machine that is produced by LONGEVITY.

Also, we have improved our foot pedal. The reliability of this machine is the best we have offered. I have photos of the internals, which clearly indicate proper separation of mother boards, color coordinated wires for easy tracing, and different size connectors so that if you do remove a plug, you know where it goes every time on the board. Overall, the built quality is unmatched by Chinese factories.

Here is a video done by Tim:

Re: TIGWELD 200 EX - 200 AMP Digital AC DC TIG/STICK PULSE WELDING

When are you going to make a welder with simple pulse settings where you can go from .5pps to 200 pps. I have yet to see a simple pulse setting unit. On a miller unit, you push pulse and turn the dial on how many times you want it to pulse per second, makes it simple for the end user to understand. Its really this that holds me up from bitting the bullet on one of your units.

I hear you on the knobs versus digital, however you will see the trend is to digital. the layout and programming of the machine panel is similar to the Lincoln Invertec V205T I had.. It makes sense when you use it. you follow the up slope, current pulse and downslope all graphically represented. Yet I also generally prefer knobs. I did not care for the setup on the Lincoln at all. the display was very hard to see in sunlight and you could not tell which parameter was highlighted... Does not look like it has any memory settings. this gets really annoying if you are working with several different thickness and need to swap back and forth a lot. My lincoln was the same way. Just didn't like scrolling through half a dozen setting to find the one I needed to adjust so another + for knobs there or dedicated digital controls for each function..

My mig welder (avatar) is digital but the approach is different. 3 rows of arrows where the setting to be adjusted appear right above the arrows to adjust them. also has a 2 line text display not just a digital number display... This display is very easy to use and adjust... so ditigtal can be done in away that makes it easy to use..

I5 i would suggest something like the 200SX or 200DX that has knobs. 99% of the folks that buy the extra feature machines don't really need pulse, adj flow settings etc..

Re: TIGWELD 200 EX - 200 AMP Digital AC DC TIG/STICK PULSE WELDING

I learned on a syncrowave 200, that had digital settings, but it was just simple. Had a knob for ac, dc +, dc- a button to switch from tig to stick a button for balance and dig and a button for pps and pulser. I would just use the pulse button and turn the knob to 1 pps or 2 pps took about a second to do. It just makes sense. I can weld without pulse, but I make better looking beads with it. I don't understand having it pulsing 50 times a second where you can't really even tell if its pulsing or not.

Our price on this model has been adjusted to keep up with competition to $1299.99 - if you are interested in this model, we have them in stock, pedal and argon regulator is included! They are very reliable and offer great control on both ac and dc functions.

Rapid pulse seems to be used for stainless steel or sheet as well as some use it on aluminum. Can control heat input and distortion as well as discoloration.
Using Pulse to make up for poor welding skill is not a good idea.
Now pulsed Aluminum MIG, I would like to have... heh

Sure, I talked to my friend that now teaches shop and he is up for it whenever u want to send it to me. If u want me to test other machine, just PM or email me.
So what did u think of Lanse's reviews and videos. I thought he did a good job and a fair and impartial eval...

Hi Southpaw,

I sent a PM. Tomorrow, i will have a meeting with the team, and also check our inventory numbers! We are for others sharing the results of the machines. We have been told they are great units by customers, etc... but not many WW members got the experience.

Lanse did a very good unbiased job! We were confident that this was a great machine for the price and he showed its capabilities. He even stated he has more work he has completed with it and I cannot wait to see that!

I will send you a PM tomorrow! We are off to Fabtech in Vegas this week and we just returned from Sema.
