Craigslist welding tables

I just picked up these tables from a guy on craigslist. both have a 51x21 top and one 3/8 other is 1/4. I was buying the one with the back but when I got there he said he had the other one too. The one on the left, one of the legs was bent badly so he gave me a deal . I gave $65 for both and used a sledge hammer to bend the leg back. I think it was a pretty good deal

Yep............. All this "vintage" American iron is headed to the scrap yard if we don't "rescue" it.

Nice "rescue" tables.

Re: Craigslist welding tables

Ok so I cut the back off the one on the right> its 1/4 think. The smaller table top is bent up so I am flipping the table over and using the old back as a top and putting casters on it.

exactly what I was thinking. I have wanted a table for some time now though. I may sell one of them.

Here is what I did with the back piece though with some help from the little one
