2lb spool on powermig 215?
Is there an adapter available to use a small 2lb spool on the powermig 215?

Re: 2lb spool on powermig 215?
Good question.... I've been there several times. When I could not locate an adapter, I simply made my own. Unbolt the center bolt that holds your spool hub. Replace it with a bolt long enough to go through your 2# spool. You may have to make a bushing if there's some slack. Use a few spring washers on both sides of the spool to keep it from "free spooling" and causing a birds nest.
Double check your wire routing / wire guides since your feeding at a slightly different angle. Thanks, Hobo

Take the plastic spindle off. get a couple of wood block, drill a hole. Just used the keyed washer , spring and thumb screw.
