my first machine/new project

Hello all. just purchased my first machine a Miller Big 40 and thought id put some pictures up of it. Got a pretty good deal on her but like anything old shes got some issues. i plan on restoring her to like new condition after getting the running problems resolved. Name:  big40 1546.jpg

thanks! she welds at least. some idle up/down problems and oil leaks but nothing major i think!

Can't go to wrong with a Continental Red Seal. keep plastic pail over the exhaust when it is sitting, had rain cap but can't stress how important it is to keep the water out. good luck with it. looks nice.

jonnyoh72, did you get this from around St. Louis? I saw this very welder being pulled down 55, then 67 south last Friday on my way to the country!!

Good looking machine!!

i love mine it weld so nice all i ever had to do to mine was replace a belt the old one finally took a crap welcome to the millerhood...
