Spectrum Thunder
does anyone know if the spectrum thunder will sever 1/4", in the full line catalog it shows what the 375 will sever . it seems to me it ought to its only another 1/16" it has to go threw? i won't be cutting anything over 1/4", sure would like to know before i screwup and buy the wrong cutter

Plasma cutting
I have the Miller Spectrum 300 which will cut 1/4 in steel. It is slow but it does the job. I have cut 4ft x8ft sheets with mine. I am not sure about the (Thunder). I think that would be a smaller machine that has a built in compressor. If it is I would not recommend it for 1/4 in stuff. I would recommend the new Miller 375 which has replaced the 300. That one I think will cut 5/16 or 3/8.
