Cycle Sculpture inspired by Brown Dog

This is the cycle sculpture I did that was inspired by Brown Dog. I had a lot of fun doing it but being my first one it did get a little stressful at times!

The lower frame, front forks, rear fender and gas tank were all made of spoons. The tank is actually a tank fabbed from spoons and the gas cap is threaded and removable. The seat was inspired by the leaves I do for my roses and was the idea of my wife. The engine is compiled of swagelok fittings and various nuts and bolts. I hope I did you justice Brown Dog! I was very happy with it and it brought $160.00 in a silent auction for the benefit!

Re: Cycle Sculpture inspired by Brown Dog

I've heard of "pan head" and "shovel head", but "spoon head"?

Nice job!

Re: Cycle Sculpture inspired by Brown Dog

I see all these awesome pieces of art and think I could do that but, when I try I realize that God didn't bless me with the vision that he did others. That is a really cool bike.
