punch via cad update

well i bit the bullet yesterday and bought the punch program i went buy staples and they had 30 dollars worth of rebates for it so i will end up paying around 60 for it instead of a hundred hopefully i can install it later and i will post up my findings

Do you know if it will save the files in .dxf format?

It looks like a great program for the price.

I just bit the bullet too. Let me know how you like it. I have been looking for an affordable 3d Cad for mac for some time now. I'm glad you had that link in the other thread, looks very interesting. It'll be about a week before I get it, but I'll post a review once I figure it out.

it says it will import an export with dwg and dxf as well as a bunch of others i just drew a 3d goblet in a couple minutes with the tutorial i will post it up when i figure out how to do that

mostly to draw up and see designs in 3d before i build something also for some prototype stuff

Here is an update on ViaCad. I just got the program today. I went through the tutorial and made the goblet. Pretty easy so far. Excellent graphics.

I'm hoping to get some more time to play with it. what format did you put it in so you can post it ? i was checking out there forum there's some cool stuff on there if you haven't you should check it out
