Dumb regulator question of the day
I currently have large O/A tanks, that I rent and don't use much.I just picked up some smaller tanks(B) acetylene size. Can I adapt my larger regulators to fit the smaller tanks or should I just get smaller regulators.I'm just tired of dragging around big tanks and paying rental.Thanks.

Re: Dumb regulator question of the day
Hi 59ih340,
Yes you can get adapters. My setup is large reg's and a B acet. tank, with a Q oxy. I think the fittings are CGA-540 to CGA-520 or 510?, I'm sorry I can't be sure as I'm not home now, in NC on a buisness trip. However, any local welding supply should be able to set you up for $10 to $20 dollars. o.c.d. |
