Sources for plasma cutting custom silhouettes

Hi,

Can anyone tell me of any sources that will custom plasma cut silhouettes, or modify some of their own to fit my applications. I have called and sent e-mails to several places advertised on the web, but they never get back with any information or pricing. I have a new Hypertherm Powermax 1000, but due to a disability I am not steady enough to cut the fine details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.................thanks,

Pat

Pat if you have a graphics program (I used photo shop but others will do),you can take reverse images , take the color out and make your own template of some pictures. This works better with pictures without too much detail. It is also limiting in the size of the picture, but it will work. I did it with a ship picture and a christmas scene. You could also cut templtes out of thin plywood ,allow for the plasma cup and run it around the template for multiples of the same picture. You would want to wet the plwood first. Hope that helps ,David

Pat what about calling on any of the many fab shops for plasma or laser cutting and see if they can help. Usually they may or will have a minimum charge though. One place I use for laser work is Metalwerx in Grafton, WI. Bob there does most estimates 262-376-4401. But there are many places to try.
