Riland Plasma Cut40.... Opinions Please

Great forum ya'll have going here. I'm thinking of buying a small plasma for my hobby shop. Looked on ebay and there all kinds of imports. I've been around awhile and know that a lot of those would be wasting my money. Anyone using a Riland or have a suggestion as to the best of these low priced cutters? I did a search on the forum and found some info, but I still would like to hear from a few users or anyone else with opinions about cut 40 plasmas. Riland looks to have a pretty good support system. Thanks,
kurf

The # of the Machine is normally the maximun thickness they will cut, but I would stay with American made because if you ever need any service, you can forget foreign made. Thermal has a good one, lincoln , miller also. good luck and welcome, John

Sam, why are you stuck on Riland and not one of the majors, as recommended by most. John

US made.....Hypertherm Powermax30 is a bit more expensive, but it is a powerful unit, with the ability to operate on 120 volts or 240 volts, can sever up to 1/2" thick.....does a great job cutting in the gauge to 1/4" thickness range.

check it out: https://www.hypertherm.com/en/Produc...powermax30.jsp
