Thanks guys!!!

I cut the drawing out of a big sheet of paper and traced it on the metal with a sharpie marker.
I was way off when I actually cut it but while looking at it it needed some tweaking. I used a game cam photo of the 8 point as a model.
I am going to clean up the slag from the back side and shoot it with Rustoleum "Bronze" paint.

Re: Plasma practice...

I use a grease pencil for marking. Easier to see than a sharpie.

Re: Plasma practice...

I'll have to try the grease pencil, does it melt when you put the heat to it?

VERY COOL!! What are the dimensions on that thing? In the last photo it seems much bigger than the first one.

Re: Plasma practice...

Thats cool, makes me wish I already had my plasma cutter. I'm still on the fence, don't know which one I should get. At least I have narrowed it down to the Miller, Thermal Dynamics or the Hypertherm.

One bad a$# car by the way.

Re: Plasma practice...

Thanks!!!

I wasn't sure which to get the first time. I started with Miller Spectrum Thunder which is the same as the Spectrum 125C today.
I just sold it last week!!
This new one is awesome!!!! After trying the other one I learned what I wanted and what I wanted it to do.
If I ever get caught up I am going to finish this car next. I painted it 5 years ago and haven't touched it since!!!
